Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
The circle drive in front of the school is only open to staff and bus traffic from 8:00 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Parents coming to the school during the school day should park in the playground lot and come to the main office.
Drop-off for Kindergarten* and 1st Grade(and older siblings)
Park in the playground lot and bring students between 8:40-8:50 a.m. to the main playground gate to meet a staff member. If you arrive late, after 8:50 a.m., come to the main office to sign-in your child(ren).
*Special Instructions for Kindergarten Parent for the first three days of school. Kindergarten students will be dropped off at the cafeteria doors on August 22-24 between 8:40-8:50 a.m. Starting on Thursday, August 25th, drop-off will be at the playground gate.
Car-rider Pickup for Kindergarten and 1st(and older siblings)
Classroom teachers will bring students to the playground gate at 3:45 p.m. Parents should stand outside the painted blue circle area so that teachers can make visual eye contact with parents before releasing children.
Drop-off for 2nd-4th Grade
Parents use the south drive and go to the back parking lot. Parents should park in a parking spot and bring their children to the drop-off location beginning at 8:40 a.m. There is over-flow parking in the Wattles Park Men's Club lot. 2nd grade enter through the exterior doors to the classrooms on the east side of the parking lot. 3rd and 4th grade students enter through the end doors to their wing near the northwest corner of the parking lot. Please use extreme caution when driving in the back parking lot as it will be crowded and parent and students are moving to the drop-off locations. Use only marked spaces for parking. Parking along sidewalks creates congestion for other parents trying to leave. Doors are open until 8:50 a.m. If you are arriving late, after 8:50 a.m., use the playground lot and sign-in your child(ren) at the main desk in the office.
Pick-up for 2nd-4th Grade
Parents picking up will park in a space in the back parking lot(overflow in Men's Club) between 3:45-3:55 p.m. Parents walk to dismissal location and make contact with the supervising adult. 2nd graders are released by the teachers at their exterior classroom doors. 3rd and 4th graders are released by a staff member on the sidewalk at the northwest corner of the parking lot. Parents arriving late, after 3:55 p.m., will need to park in the playground lot and come to the main office.
